Photos that feel like your horse.

Fine art equine photography for people who know their horse better than most people know their friends.

What makes these photos different

MOST EQUINE PHOTOGRAPHY IS ABOUT GETTING THE SHOT. THIS IS ABOUT GETTING THE HORSE.

A lot of  sessions follow a shot list: ears forward, walk toward camera, stand square, repeat.

That approach works if every horse is the same.

I photograph the things only you notice.

The soft eye when you walk up with their favorite snack. The head tilt that means they're listening. The moment when you scratch just the right spot. Even the quirks that make you laugh every single time.

Nothing formulaic. Nothing forced.

Why This Works for Sensitive Horses (and Their People)

Before the session I ask about your horse's quirks, triggers, and comfort zones.

Throughout our time together, I monitor their body language and make adjustments to ensure your horse's comfort. If they need a break, they get one. If either of you aren’t comfortable with something, we won't force it.

It’s about knowing when to step in, when to wait, and when to let a moment unfold without interference.

You'll never feel rushed, pushed or pressured.

How a session actually feels

Before Your Session: I'll send you a planning guide, and then we’ll have a quick  call to discuss your horse’s quirks, your location, and your "must-have" moments.

My Arrival at the barn: I arrive 10-15 minutes early to scout the best light while you finish grooming. No "ticking clock" pressure.

The Shoot: We move at your horse’s pace. If they need ten minutes to settle into a new spot, we take the time.

The Results: Within 3-4 weeks, you’ll receive a private gallery of professionally edited images ready for the wall.
